French Polish by Ben!
Your new Custom Line Jayemar guitar or bass is now available with a French Polish finish as an additional option!  Ben Lambdin has been applying traditional, hand-rubbed finishes for 12 years, has worked with renowned luthier Kenny Hill, and also spent some time at Santa Cruz Guitar Company.  Recently relocated to the Portland area, Ben is much sought-after by classical and flattop luthiers for his impeccable finish work.  Necks will continue to have a silky-smooth oil finish, but you can choose to have a lustrous shellac finish on your next Iris, Alma, or Jessie Lynn.  Check out Ben's work on Instagram and give him a follow!

Brandon Sause demos the "Walnut Shred" Iris 8-string
My friend Brandon is a helluva guitar player, and he can throw down on the jazz box as well as the djent stick.  See him run the "Walnut Shred" Iris 8-string through its paces, demonstrating the flexibility of the 5 coil combinations on this one-pickup guitar, and the utility of the treble bleed circuit.  (This guitar is on sale, BTW.)  Check out some of Brandon's other demos, and smash that subscribe button!

The brutal murder of George Perry Floyd Jr. at the hands of Minneapolis Police officers on May 25, 2020 sparked a renewed movement to demand justice for victims of police brutality and dismantle systemic racism.  Through the act of protest, both on the streets and on social media, other vulnerable groups have also told their stories of violence and oppression.  Quite simply, we must change, this movement cannot lose momentum, and I must do my part to amplify and support the organizations carrying this fight.

Starting in June 2020, Jayemar Guitars will donate 10% of all instrument sales to social justice organizations.  With your order, you have the opportunity to select a category of organizations to support.  Money will be distributed to local and national groups most in need of donations at the time of your purchase.  Go to the new Charitable Giving page to find out more.

Jayemar Guitars on the Tone Mob Podcast
I stopped by the Tone Mob "Shred Shed" to talk with Blake and Jess about my favorite subject: multi-scale!  Check out my interview in the February 17, 2020 episode, and stick around to listen to Paul Rhoney give an update in the March 12, 2020 episode.
