Local Woods Challenge at the
2018 Vancouver International Guitar Festival At the VIGF, I was proud to participate in the Local Woods Challenge along with seven other awesome international luthiers. The challenge? Simply to build a guitar with woods local to your geographic region (and NO exotic/tropical woods). This was easy for me, because Jayemar Guitars are always built with local, salvaged, and up-cycled woods. Thanks to Marc Saumier for organizing this event! 1. Louis-Philippe Bond, Bond Instruments 2. Trevor Woodland, Vigilant Guitars 3. Jason Rodgers, Jayemar Guitars 4. Mark Gaiero, Gaiero Guitars 5. Andy Webber, Whalehazard Guitars 6. Will Bright, Bright Guitars 7. Marc Saumier, Marc Saumier Luthier 8. Trevor Kronbauer, Kronbauer Guitars |
