​Guitar and Bass

Named after my wife, the Jessie Lynn models feature visually stunning modern design and light-weight, tonally-responsive construction.  Available as headless or head-ed, single-cut, or double-cut!
The Jessie Lynn model includes:
Body:
  • Chambered body core of light and resonant Oregon red alder
  • Body cap of contrasting, locally-sourced, figured hardwoods (maple and walnut shown)
  • Heavily contoured arm bevel and belly cut
  • Single-cut and double-cut available
Neck:
  • Quartersawn roasted maple set neck (single-cut) or bolt-on neck (double-cut) with carbon fiber rods, double-action truss rod, 16 inch radius fingerboard, 24 frets (stainless zero), and Skur Composites glow-in-the-dark side and fretboard position markers
  • Multi-scale fretboard, 12th fret neutral:
    • 6-string guitar: 25 to 26 inches, 1-11/16 inch nut width
    • 7-string guitar: 25-1/2 to 27 inches, 1-7/8 inch nut width
    • 8-string guitar: 26 to 28 inches, 2-3/16 inch nut width
    • 4-string bass: 33-1/2 to 34-1/2 inches, 1-1/2 inch nut width
    • 5-string bass: 33-1/2 to 35 inches, 1-3/4 inch nut width
    • 5-string bass: 33 to 35 inches, 2-1/8 inch nut width
  • Head-ed headstock options:
    • ​6-string guitar: 3x3 or inline
    • ​7-string guitar: 4x3 or inline
    • ​8-string guitar: ​4x4 or inline
    • 4-string bass: 2x2
    • ​5-string bass: 3x2
    • 6-string bass: 3x3
Hardware:
  • Headless guitar and bass: Falbo by M Design headless tuning system
  • Head-ed guitar: Graph Tech Ratio or Hipshot Grip Lock tuners with Jayemar proprietary bridge plate with Graph Tech saddles
  • Head-ed bass: Graph Tech Ratio or Hipshot Ultralite tuners with Hipshot Solo or Babicz Solorail single string bridges
  • Stringjoy Signature Nickel Wound Strings:
    • 6-string guitar: Balanced Light Guage 10-48
    • 7-string guitar: Heavy Bottom Light Gauge 10-64
    • 8-string guitar: Heavy Bottom Super Light Gauge 9-80
    • 4-string bass: Light Top, Heavy Bottom Gauge 45-105
    • 5-string bass: Light Top, Heavy Bottom Gauge 45-130
    • 6-string bass: Light Gauge, Long Scale 30-130
Electronics:
  • Two hand-wound Jayemar pickups
  • 500k volume pot with treble bleed circuit
  • 500k tone pot with .022uf capacitor
  • 3-way toggle or 3- or 5-way blade pickup selector
  • One or two coil cut mini switches optional
  • Switchcraft jack, mounted on back in a strat-style receptacle
Finish:
  • Hand-rubbed stains
  • Shellac and oil
